We met racing mountain bikes at the local 24 hour race and have continued riding all over the country since then on two, and four wheels. Our travel is recreation and culture-based. We have hiked the TMB around Mt. Blanc through France, Italy, Switzerland, toured rural and urban Japan, covered Thailand, Mexico, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and taken cooking classes in most.

In our old ’97 F350 slide-in, with kayaks, hiking boots, dog, road and mountain bikes, we have adventure traveled through the West, the Rockies and Pacific Coast, finding the best biking, most beautiful hikes, clearest deep water, and most remote camping while never missing a meal of real healthy and flavorful fare. Our tremendous days end with “poo-poo platter chatter,” which involves a great assortment of cheese and fruit and a nice wine, while we discuss the days glories and regrets, and plan for the rest of the trip. Our ability to stay in primitive areas, allows for a lot of spontaneity.

We plan to live in the vehicle for extended periods of time in remote areas of the Northern Hemisphere during all seasons. It will be extending and amplifying what we have been doing in our slide-in camper on an F350 for the last seventeen years. In our old ’97 truck, with kayaks, hiking boots, dog, road and mountain bikes, we have adventure traveled through the West, the Rockies and Pacific Coast, finding the best biking, most beautiful hikes, clearest deep water, and most remote camping while never missing a meal of real healthy and flavorful fare. Our tremendous days end with “poo-poo platter chatter,” which involves a great assortment of cheese and fruit and a nice wine, while we discuss the days glories and regrets, and plan for the rest of the trip. Our ability to stay in primitive areas, allows for a lot of spontaneity. Our new vehicle, with quadruple the water and power, will keep us out even longer and diving deeper into the hard to get to places.
