Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library
The purpose of the Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library is to assist the library by providing equipment for the library, sponsoring educational programs such as the Summer Reading Program, providing Museum Passes and the Museum Pass Reservation System for library patrons.
Due to recent announcements from the State of Massachusetts regarding current health concerns, and with an abundance of caution for our community, we have decided that it is best to postpone Mini-Golf at the Reuben Hoar Library. We are working with Library Mini-Golf (the company who provides the golf structure) to coordinate a new date. As soon as one has been selected, we will let everyone know!
MINI-GOLF in the Library RETURNS March 27 and 28, 2020
Soon, the inside of the Reuben Hoar Library will once again be transformed into a unique, custom-designed 18-hole mini golf course! From 6 to 9 pm you can play unlimited mini golf, enjoy tasty hors d’oeuvres and desserts, and test your luck in our silent auction and raffles. Be sure to earn your bragging rights at the 50-50 Hole-in-One contest. Grab a foursome and "book" your evening on the Reuben Hoar Library Mini Golf links! Tickets available on Eventbrite and at the library circulation desk.
Looking for something to do with your family? Come for Family Day, where rounds will be just $5 each. Play through with the kids, enter raffle drawings, and make it a day with lunch from Ed's Weenies and Zapata Mexican Cocina food truck.
The proceeds from this fundraiser will support the Friends of the Reuben Hoar Library and the be put toward the construction of the new library building.
Would you like to volunteer at the event? We couldn't do this event without our many teen and adult volunteers. Sign up today, and thank you!
