Join us for a scavenger hunt over zoom. We will provide the clues and participants will search for the items from the comfort of your own home. Winner will receive Kimball's gift certificates.

The popular guess-the-number-in-the-jar game returns with a few twists! Each day enter your guess of the number of items in the jars. Examine the pictures and submit your answers online.
One winner each day with the closest guess without going over will win a Kimball's Gift Certificate.
Sunday's Contest: Blades of grass! Congratulations to Brayden Halloran, who had the closest guess of 701 without going over the real total of 902!
Monday's Contest: Popcorn Kernels! There were 7288 kernels of corn in the jar! Congratulations to Sam McDonough who came closest with a guess of 7200!

Minecraft builders can download our specially crafted RHL Mini-golf course to play on your own computer. This will be Java version only, but we have a course tour video and a tutorial video showing everyone how to build your own course!

All youth participants can register to receive a free Olie the Ocelot stuffed animal, provided by Library Mini-Golf! This is the company that normally sets up our Mini-Golf in the Library course, and they've kindly offered to provide stuffed animals to all youth who participate in our re-imagined virtual event.
The stuffed animal can be picked up at or outside the library this fall. We will email details in September.

A Story Walk is an outdoor reading experience whereby a children’s book is deconstructed and the pages of the book are laminated and placed on wooden stakes or in permanent kiosks along a walking trail. We will have 2 story walks set up:
Hartwell Family Memorial Preserve on Sunday, August 16 from 10am to 5pm
Stretch your legs on a walk around Hartwell Family Memorial Preserve while reading “Maybe Something Beautiful: How Art Transformed a Neighborhood” by F. Isabel Campoy and Theresa Howell. Start in the parking lot and follow the story kiosks around the yellow trail to the Old Stone Bridge. The story will be available from 10 am to 5 pm. Parking is available in the parking lot off Hartwell Ave. If the parking lot is full, we kindly request that you return at a later time.
Cloverdale Trail on Thursday, August 20 from 10am to 5pm
Explore the boardwalks and wildlife at the Cloverdale Conservation Area while enjoying “The Curious Garden” by Peter Brown. Start in the parking lot and head toward the boardwalk to follow the story kiosks around the loop. The story will be available from 10 am to 5 pm. Parking is available in the parking lot off Great Road. If the parking lot is full, we kindly request that you return at a later time.
Remember to practice proper Covid-19 precautions - wear a mask, keep your distance from other groups, and use hand sanitizer if you touch the story kiosks. We thank the Littleton Conservation Commission and Littleton Conservation Trust for collaborating with us on this mini-golf week event.
