Welcome to Aura. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Aura: Personal Makeup Stylist mobile application and related services provided by Rhemy, Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using the Aura app (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You may use Aura only if you are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these eligibility requirements.
Aura uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR) to provide virtual makeup try-ons, facial feature analysis, and personalized style recommendations. These outputs are for entertainment and personal visualization purposes only.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You may not:
Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or violates intellectual property rights.
Upload photos of others without their explicit consent.
Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract data or source code from the Service.
Interfere with servers, networks, or other users.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms.
You retain ownership of any photos you upload or capture using the Service. By submitting content, you grant Aura a limited, non-exclusive license to use your photos solely to provide the Service (e.g., to process the image for style analysis).
Privacy: Photos are processed transiently for the purpose of the session and are not permanently stored, sold, or used to train public AI models.
The Service uses third-party AI models and AR technology to generate visual overlays and recommendations.
Subjectivity: Style and makeup recommendations are subjective.
Visual Accuracy: Virtual makeup (AR) is a digital simulation. Actual physical makeup products may look different on your skin due to lighting, skin texture, and application technique.
No Guarantee: We do not guarantee the accuracy, quality, or appropriateness of any AI-generated content or AR visualization.
Your privacy is important to us. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details on how we collect, use, and protect your data, including Face Data and TrueDepth API usage.
All software, design, branding, and content (excluding user submissions) are the intellectual property of the Company or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or modify any part of the app without our prior written consent.
You may not:
Upload images of other individuals without their consent.
Harass, impersonate, or threaten others through the Service.
Misuse AI outputs to cause harm, embarrassment, or discrimination.
Violations may result in immediate suspension or legal action.
Aura uses third-party platforms such as Google Gemini and Firebase for processing. Use of these tools is subject to their respective terms, which you also agree to by using the Service.
READ CAREFULLY: The Service and its contents (including skin analysis, product recommendations, and style advice) are for informational and entertainment purposes only.
Not Medical Advice: The Service does not offer medical or dermatological advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
No Reliance: You should not rely on the Application’s analysis of skin conditions as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always seek the advice of a physician or qualified health provider regarding any skin sensitivities or medical conditions.
Product Safety: We are not responsible for any adverse reactions (e.g., allergies, irritation) caused by real-world products you choose to purchase or apply based on the App's virtual recommendations.
The Service is provided “AS IS” and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
Accuracy of style scores or feedback.
Continuous availability or error-free operation.
That virtual makeup results will match real-world application.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from:
Use of or reliance on the Service.
Errors or omissions in AI/AR output.
Personal dissatisfaction with results.
Adverse skin reactions to products mentioned in the app.
Our total liability is limited to $100 USD or the total amount you paid to us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its officers, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, unless otherwise required by law.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we do, we will notify you by updating the date above and/or within the app. Continued use of the Service after changes indicates acceptance of the new Terms.
Aura offers a premium subscription titled "Aura Premium" (or similar).
Billing: Charged to your Apple ID account upon confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Management: You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings at any time.
