Sounds of the Shore is a short film I independently developed and produced during my internship at LMC Media's Studio on the Avenue, utilizing the organization's resources and facilities to explore the rock music culture of Larchmont and Mamaroneck, NY. 

Serving as director, producer, and editor, I led all aspects of production—from conceptualization and coordination to post-production. 

The episode features Ted Utz, bassist for Sway, managing partner at Vine Street Music and Sway Music Management, and a longtime advocate for the local music scene. 

This project reflects my ability to self-direct and execute a documentary-style piece with minimal oversight, leveraging LMC Media's equipment and studio space to bring the story to life.

In a crime-noir parody reminiscent of the sharp, self-aware humor of Community, I took on the challenge of creating a world of intrigue and absurdity. 

The story follows Brendan Schultz, a determined yet comically flawed protagonist, as he attempts to uncover the mystery of a missing answer key ring. 

For this project, I wore multiple hats: writing the script, editing the final piece, and stepping into the role of Brendan himself. 

The parody blends over-the-top detective tropes with clever humor, delivering a lighthearted yet engaging take on the classic crime-noir genre.

The senior class film follows a girl attempting to clear her name after a body is discovered in her locker. Drawing inspiration from 1980s and 1990s pop culture, as well as dark comedies and horror films from those eras, I served as producer and locations manager over a three-month production period. 

This role proved especially challenging, as the director requested multiple reshoots in difficult locations including the theater, locker room, and football field. 

I successfully negotiated access to these spaces by coordinating with gym teachers and the music department. Additionally, I occasionally offered notes on the script, shot composition, and even contributed to what would eventually become the film's title.
