MD. MOKTADIR BILLAH REZA, DVM, MS
Md. Moktadir Billah Reza is an enthusiastic research clinician with an intense interest in scientific communication, especially the interaction between microbes and their hosts as well as clinical management of infectious diseases. He has a strong interest in researching microorganisms that affect animals as well as humans. Currently, he is working as a small animal veterinarian in the infectious disease department at Furmillion Veterinary Clinic, Dhaka, Bangladesh. In his current job, he diagnoses and clinically manages various infectious diseases in small animals. Also, he collaborates on clinical, epidemiological, and molecular investigations on contagious virus of small animals project with Dr. Ahaduzzaman's Lab, Department of Medicine and Surgery, CVASU, Bangladesh. Before that, he earned his MS in Theriogenology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at Chattogram Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (CVASU). He has published several scientific articles in a national and international peer-reviewed journal. His areas of research interest include antibiotic resistance, one health, microbial virulent factors, zoonosis, microbial ecology, spill-over virus, host-microbe interactions, and animal biotechnology.
Hobbies during free time (other than science): traveling, watching and playing football and cricket, hanging out with friends, watching movies and TV series, and so on.
