Evaluation of preserved buck semen (Chilled and Frozen) extended with different extenders
A field trial of preserved semen by Artificial Insemination in goats.
Fertility evaluation in goats after AI with preserved buck semen etc.
Project 1: Development of new diluents for the preservation of Jamnapari buck semen to improve frozen semen quality and conception rate after AI in goats. (December, 2020 – December, 2021)
Responsibilities:
Seminal plasma separation and observation of the effect of buck seminal plasma on skim milk and different proportions of egg yolk in tris-based semen extenders.
Evaluation of semen quality after cryopreservation of buck semen etc.
Project 2: Identification and characterization of uterine microorganisms in dairy cows at Chattogram. (August-December, 2019)
Responsibilities:
Epidemiological investigation of repeat breeder cows.
Sample collection from the suspected cow uterus and bacteriological identification, DNA extraction, PCR confirmation of targeted bacteria, etc.
