Some of our projects will need vray4 (maya 2018) while some other need to be launched using vray5 (maya 2020), so both exe paths are listed in the plugin config.

Problem is, the vray render job will get the first vray.exe path listed in the deadline plugin configuration, so all jobs are launched using vray.exe from \Maya2018 path:

That being said, I went ahead and rebuilt all my env vars to point a new directory.

Fired up Maya locally, and was able to render with Vray locally.

Closed Maya, and fired up Maya from the network, and was able to load vray plugin and render succesfully.

I then opened a command prompt and issued a render.exe -name of maya file (of a known vray maya scene) and it successfully loaded the plugin and rendered the frame, Awesome! The render.exe is the network version , not on my C:\ drive

Sent the exact same scene to deadline, and told it to do a mayabatch as well as a mayacmd and they both error out, however I am a little further, now the error seems to be

I'm having an issue concerning mayapy.I'm trying to open and tweak a scene using mayapy, but its coming up with a fatal error and crashing.

The scene has Vray/Arnold/Bifrost plugins loaded. (Error code further down).

Before that, a bit of troubleshooting I've tried:
