God's LOVE Endures Forever
1 Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
His love endures forever.
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
His love endures forever.
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords:
His love endures forever.
4 to him who alone does great wonders,
His love endures forever.
5 who by his understanding made the heavens,
His love endures forever.
6 who spread out the earth upon the waters,
His love endures forever.
7 who made the great lights—
His love endures forever.
8 the sun to govern the day,
His love endures forever.
9 the moon and stars to govern the night;
His love endures forever.
10 to him who struck down the firstborn of Egypt
His love endures forever.
11 and brought Israel out from among them
His love endures forever.
12 with a mighty hand and outstretched arm;
His love endures forever.
13 to him who divided the Red Sea asunder
His love endures forever.
14 and brought Israel through the midst of it,
His love endures forever.
15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea;
His love endures forever.
16 to him who led his people through the wilderness;
His love endures forever.
17 to him who struck down great kings,
His love endures forever.
18 and killed mighty kings—
His love endures forever.
19 Sihon king of the Amorites
His love endures forever.
20 and Og king of Bashan—
His love endures forever.
21 and gave their land as an inheritance,
His love endures forever.
22 an inheritance to his servant Israel.
His love endures forever.
23 He remembered us in our low estate
His love endures forever.
24 and freed us from our enemies.
His love endures forever.
25 He gives food to every creature.
His love endures forever.
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven.
His love endures forever.
Revelation 22:1-21
22 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, as clear as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 down the middle of the great street of the city. On each side of the river stood the tree of life, bearing twelve crops of fruit, yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations. 3 No longer will there be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. And they will reign for ever and ever.
6 The angel said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God who inspires the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants the things that must soon take place.”
7 “Look, I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy written in this scroll.”
8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. 9 But he said to me, “Don’t do that! I am a fellow servant with you and with your fellow prophets and with all who keep the words of this scroll. Worship God!”
10 Then he told me, “Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this scroll, because the time is near.11 Let the one who does wrong continue to do wrong; let the vile person continue to be vile; let the one who does right continue to do right; and let the holy person continue to be holy.”
12 “Look, I am coming soon! My reward is with me, and I will give to each person according to what they have done. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, that they may have the right to the tree of life and may go through the gates into the city. 15 Outside are the dogs, those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
16 “I, Jesus, have sent my angel to give you this testimony for the churches. I am the Root and the Offspring of David, and the bright Morning Star.”
17 The Spirit and the bride say, “Come!” And let the one who hears say, “Come!” Let the one who is thirsty come; and let the one who wishes take the free gift of the water of life.
18 I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this scroll: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to that person the plagues described in this scroll. 19 And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.
20 He who testifies to these things says, “Yes, I am coming soon.”
Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.
21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God’s people. Amen.
When the Psalmist wrote his words about God, he keeps reminding us again and again that LOVE, God's LOVE lasts forever...And it does...The Psalmist writes what God has done for His people in the past...God helps His children...And God's LOVE lasts an eternity...His LOVE is infinite...His LOVE never will end...His LOVE will be here till the end of time...His LOVE awaits us in heaven...And we need reminded of the Psalmist's words...God's LOVE is everywhere and is here on earth and His LOVE is in heaven...And God who by His very understanding made the heavens...His LOVE endures...
The last words of the Bible are written by St. John...These words were written a thousand years after the Psalms...St. John writes about heaven and this great LOVE of God and His Son...They will be in heaven...He writes that the river of the Water of Life being as pure and is as clear as crystal...On each side of that beautiful river is the Tree of Life...And this river flows from the throne of God and of the Lamb...We will get to serve God, and as a blessing, we will get to see Him face to face...There will be no more darkness...We will not need lamps, lights, or even the moon or the sun...The Light will come from God...He will radiate the Light of heaven...The Light of God will drive out all darkness, and there will be no more darkness...
St. John continues, Jesus is soon coming...Let us be ready for Him...Let those who are vile, continue to be vile...Let those who do wrong, continue to do wrong...Let those who do right continue to do right...Let those who are holy, continue to be holy...When the time is upon us, it will be too late for us to change...
Jesus is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end...Jesus will send us an angel and give us this testimony...I AM the Root of David...I AM the Offspring of David and the Morning Star...Whoever is thirsty let them drink the free gift of the Water of Life...Anyone who adds to the words of the Book of Revelation will have plagues added to them...Whoever takes away words from the Book of Revelation, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city...Jesus is coming soon...May the grace of LORD Jesus be with God's people...
These are the last words of the Bible...They give us hope...To see God's face is an inspiration...To be with God and Jesus is the great hope, our greatest hope...God is LOVE...Give thanks to God above for He is Good, His LOVE endures forever...
