Revelation 21:3-6 (KJV)
Behold I Make All Things New
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
Behold I make all things new...I AM the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end...
Bishop N. T. Wright says, “Made for spirituality, we wallow in introspection...Made for joy, we settle for pleasure...Made for justice, we clamor for vengeance...Made for relationship, we insist on our own way...Made for beauty, we are satisfied with sentiment...But new creation has already begun...The sun has begun to rise...Christians are called to leave behind, in the tomb of Jesus Christ, all that belongs to the brokenness and incompleteness of the present world ... That, quite simply, is what it means to be Christian: to follow Jesus Christ into the new world, God's new world, which He has thrown open before us.” ...
So if we want a strong faith let us practice our faith, each and everyday...If we want our joy made complete, let us abide in Jesus and love God and one another...If we want justice, let us learn first about forgiveness...If we want love, let us be giving to others...There is only One who can make all things new and help us step out of our daily routines...
