Eligibility:

• Undergraduate students in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or a related major

• US citizen or permanent resident. International Students are not eligible.

• Available full-time during the program

• Students should have at least one more semester (after the spring semester) to graduate. Graduates including graduating in May are not eligible to apply

• Join in person. Cannot work at another job or cannot enroll in class during the program

Documents needed for application to be uploaded in the application system are 

1. One-page Resume

2. Unofficial Transcript

3. Name of two reference providers who are willing to write a recommendation letter on your behalf. These should be people who mentored or taught you in an academic setting, preferably related to computing.

4. One-page (maximum) statement of interests and expectations, why you can be an exceptional candidate, career goals, and research interests. 

5. One-page (maximum) statement that includes 1 or 2 potential projects you would be interested in pursuing a project from our projects (see the Projects page).

Selections 

Selections will be based on a combination of research interests, academic qualifications, and faculty recommendations. We will likely start contacting selected applicants on a rolling basis after March 1st; please be patient! :)

Proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residence will be required if selected
