Description
Alejandro is a bright ginger tabby tom with a white muzzle and paws and green eyes.
About
Alejandro is an alley cat living in the distant aftermath of the disbanding of the original five clans- Thunderclan, Windclan, Shadowclan, Riverclan and Skyclan. In the first book of the Return to the Forest series, he lives in the city that now exits where the original clan territories once were. He spent most of his time hunting for his family and fellow alley cats, as well as chasing females.
One evening, while chasing after a mouse, he comes across the home of a house cat, Jennifer. The pair of them initially have a hostile first meeting that eventually cools, and she allows him to leave with the prey. Afterwards, he becomes curious over her lifestyle and begins sneaking over to her home to meet her, much to the annoyance and horror of his brother and friends. Humans are a danger to stray cats at this time, and despite knowing better than to risk the lives of the alley cats, he gives into his curiosity and desires. That is, until he discovers that humans are beginning to hunt stray cats in a desperate attempt to reduce their population. He takes it upon himself to discover the root of the problem, whilst maintaining his relationship with Jennifer. The book ends with he and his remaining family fleeing into what is left of Thunderclan's old forest, along with Jennifer.
After living by themselves for an indiscriminate amount of time, they discover that they are not alone. Groups of cats just like them are scattered throughout the forest. These are the descendants of the original five clans, as not all cats completely abandoned their roots. Through them, Alejandro's group discover the past events that led to the original clans breaking apart. And from there, he begins collaborating with the wild cats of the forest to rebuild clan life around a new code and less of a reliance on Starclan. He later becomes leader of the new clan, Blazeclan.

Description
Jennifer is a tawny-colored she-cat with a dark face, tail, paws, and blue eyes.
About
Jennifer is a Siamese cat living in the distant aftermath of the disbanding of the original five clans- Thunderclan, Windclan, Shadowclan, Riverclan and Skyclan. She first appears in the first book of the series- Return to the Forest when alley cat, Alejandro encounters her while on a hunting trip. At first, she is antagonistic to him until he reveals the reason for his hunting (that a pregnant she-cat in his group needs food). The pair talk and Alejandro criticizes her for her lifestyle, which she is quick to defend.
Alejandro continues to visit her throughout the book, and learns that her luxurious lifestyle comes with a price. Jennifer reveals herself to be a show cat. And her owners have her participate in a selective breeding program. She has had several litters of her own, but never got a chance to watch them grow up as they were sold before adulthood. When Alejandro shows sympathy for this fact, she attempts to brush off how she really feels about the situation. The pair of them spend the night together.
At the end of the book, Jennifer sacrifices her lifestyle to come with Alejandro and his kin into the forest. The two become mates. During their relationship, she and Alejandro decide not to have children so Jennifer can spend her time healing from her past. It is left ambiguous if the pair will ever have their own kits in the future.

Lillian is a beautiful blind tortoiseshell she-cat with patches of ginger and black fur.
About
Lillian is an alley cat living in the distant aftermath of the disbanding of the original five clans- Thunderclan, Windclan, Shadowclan, Riverclan and Skyclan. She is the sister of Alejandro and Tyler, and is one of the only cats to sympathize with Alejandro when she learns about his interest in the house cat, Jennifer.
As a result of a serious eye infection, Lillian loses her eyesight shortly after her birth. She takes it upon herself to act as an unofficial nurse for the alley cats. Though due to her limited knowledge, she is not often successful.
Once she and her family flee into the woods, they encounter small groups of forest cats, and it is thanks to them that she gets the proper knowledge to heal others. She proudly becomes the medicine cat of the newly formed Blazeclan.
