These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the ResumUp mobile application (“ResumUp”, the “App”), provided by Kalestial Teknoloji Limited Şirketi. (“Kalestial”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By using ResumUp, you agree to these Terms.
ResumUp provides tools that may allow you to:
Create and edit resumes;
Customize resume templates, fonts, and colors;
Preview resumes;
Export resumes as PDF files;
Track Resume Progress;
Analyze resumes against job descriptions using AI;
Receive AI-generated suggestions;
Create tailored copies of resumes; and
Access other resume-related features made available in the App.
Available features may change over time.
You retain ownership of the information and content that you enter into ResumUp.
You are responsible for ensuring that your resume and any information you submit through the App is accurate, lawful, and appropriate for your intended use.
You grant Kalestial a limited right to process content only as reasonably necessary to provide the features you request, such as PDF generation or AI Job Matching.
This permission does not transfer ownership of your resume content to Kalestial.
Some ResumUp features use artificial intelligence.
AI-generated match scores, analyses, rewrites, suggestions, or other outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inappropriate for your circumstances.
ResumUp does not guarantee that:
An AI suggestion is correct;
A resume will satisfy a particular employer or applicant-tracking system;
A Job Match score reflects an employer’s actual hiring decision;
Using a suggestion will result in an interview or job offer; or
AI-generated language accurately represents your experience unless you verify it.
You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before using it.
You must not intentionally use ResumUp to fabricate qualifications, employment history, education, achievements, skills, certifications, or other material facts.
Resume Progress reflects completion of selected resume information within the App.
It is not a professional assessment of resume quality and does not represent a hiring probability, employability score, or guarantee that a resume is complete for any particular employer or jurisdiction.
Job Match results are informational tools designed to compare information contained in a resume with information contained in a job description.
A Job Match percentage is not a prediction or guarantee that you will receive an interview, offer, or employment.
Employers may consider factors that ResumUp does not know or evaluate.
Certain features may require a paid ResumUp Pro subscription.
The features included in ResumUp Pro are shown in the App before purchase and may include AI Job Matching, PDF export, and other premium functionality.
Resume Progress is available without a Pro subscription.
ResumUp Pro subscriptions are purchased through Apple’s App Store and are billed to your Apple ID.
Subscriptions are auto-renewable unless canceled through your Apple subscription settings.
The applicable subscription duration, price, currency, introductory offer, and renewal price are displayed by Apple and/or within the purchase screen before you confirm a purchase.
Where an introductory offer applies, eligibility is determined according to Apple’s applicable rules. At the end of the introductory period, the subscription may automatically continue at the displayed standard renewal price unless canceled.
Prices may vary by country, currency, tax treatment, or App Store territory.
You can manage or cancel your subscription through your Apple ID subscription settings.
Cancellation normally prevents future renewal but does not retroactively cancel access already purchased for the current paid period, except where applicable law or Apple policy provides otherwise.
ResumUp provides a Restore Purchases option for eligible purchases associated with your Apple account.
Purchases made through Apple are subject to Apple’s payment and refund policies.
Kalestial does not directly process your App Store payment-card transaction.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory refund or consumer rights available under applicable law.
We may add, remove, modify, or reorganize features of ResumUp over time.
We will not intentionally deprive you of a paid subscription period without providing the service or remedy required under applicable law.
Future features may be offered for free, included with ResumUp Pro, or made available under another permitted pricing model.
You agree not to:
Use ResumUp for unlawful or fraudulent purposes;
Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the App or its backend services;
Attempt to extract, misuse, or expose private API credentials;
Circumvent subscription or access controls;
Use automated systems to abuse AI or other service resources;
Submit content that you do not have the right to process;
Use the App to intentionally misrepresent material qualifications or credentials; or
Reverse engineer the App except where applicable law expressly permits it.
ResumUp, including its software, interface, branding, templates, graphics, and other proprietary materials, is owned by or licensed to Kalestial and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App in accordance with these Terms.
You may use resumes and PDF documents you create through ResumUp for your personal and professional job-search purposes.
We aim to keep ResumUp available and functioning reliably, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed.
Certain functionality may depend on:
Internet connectivity;
Apple services;
RevenueCat;
OpenAI;
Our backend infrastructure; or
Other third-party systems.
Temporary interruptions, maintenance, outages, or third-party service changes may affect functionality.
ResumUp is a software tool.
We are not an employer, recruiter, career-placement agency, legal adviser, or employment adviser.
Information and AI-generated suggestions provided through the App are for informational and productivity purposes and should be independently reviewed where appropriate.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ResumUp is provided on an “as available” basis without warranties that the App will always be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every specific purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Kalestial will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar losses resulting from your use of or inability to use ResumUp.
We are not responsible for hiring decisions, rejected applications, lost employment opportunities, or decisions made by third-party employers based on materials created with the App.
These limitations do not apply where prohibited by applicable law.
You may stop using ResumUp at any time.
We may restrict access to the service where reasonably necessary to prevent fraud, abuse, security threats, unlawful use, or material violations of these Terms.
Termination does not override subscription, refund, privacy, or consumer rights required by applicable law.
Your use of ResumUp is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy explains how local resume information, AI Job Matching data, subscription information, and technical information are processed.
We may update these Terms as ResumUp evolves or where necessary for operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
Updated Terms will display a revised effective date.
Where applicable law requires additional notice or consent for material changes, we will provide it.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Türkiye, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection rights that may apply based on where you live.
