Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how the ResumeFlow mobile app ("ResumeFlow", "the app", "we", "us", or "our") handles your information.
ResumeFlow is designed to be private by default. It is a local-first, offline resume builder, which means your resume content stays on your device and is not stored on our servers.
1. The Short Version
No account is required. You do not need to sign up, log in, or provide an email address to use ResumeFlow.
Your resume data stays on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your resumes.
We do not track you. ResumeFlow does not use advertising, analytics SDKs, ad networks, or third-party trackers.
Network access is only used for subscriptions. The app connects to the internet only when processing, checking, or restoring a subscription. Your resume content is never transmitted.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
When you create or edit a resume, ResumeFlow stores the information you enter locally on your device only. This may include:
Profile details such as your name, job title, email address, phone number, location, links, and optional profile photo.
Resume content such as your summary, work experience, education, skills, projects, and custom sections.
App preferences such as selected templates, customization settings, theme, onboarding status, and cached subscription status.
Generated PDF files that you export or save through the app.
This data is stored using local device storage, including a local SQLite database and device preference storage.
Your resume data does not leave your device through ResumeFlow unless you choose to export or share it yourself using your device’s native sharing options, such as email, AirDrop, Files, or another app.
You can delete your local data at any time by using Settings → Delete all data inside the app, or by uninstalling ResumeFlow.
Because we do not receive or store your resume data, we cannot access, recover, or restore it.
3. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
ResumeFlow offers an optional paid subscription called ResumeFlow Pro.
Purchases and subscriptions are handled by the Apple App Store, Google Play, and RevenueCat, a subscription management service. This is the only part of the app that requires a network connection.
When you view the paywall, purchase a subscription, or restore purchases:
Apple App Store or Google Play processes your payment. We do not receive your payment card number or full billing details.
RevenueCat receives the information needed to validate and manage your subscription. This may include an anonymous app-generated user identifier, purchase or receipt token, subscription status, and basic device or platform information such as operating system and app version.
Your resume content is never sent to RevenueCat, Apple, Google, or any other third party.
RevenueCat acts as our data processor for subscription management.

4. Information We Do Not Collect
ResumeFlow does not:
Collect or store your resume data on any server.
Require or collect account credentials.
Require you to provide an email address or phone number to use the app.
Use advertising, ad identifiers, or marketing trackers.
Include third-party analytics SDKs that track your activity.
Sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
5. Permissions
ResumeFlow may request device permissions only when needed for a specific feature.
These permissions may include:
Photo library or camera access — only if you choose to add a profile photo to your resume. The photo is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded by us.
Sharing access — when you export a PDF, your device’s native share sheet allows you to send the file to a destination you choose.
You can manage or revoke app permissions at any time from your device settings.
6. Children’s Privacy
ResumeFlow is not directed to children under the minimum age required by applicable local law.
Because ResumeFlow does not collect resume content or personal information on our servers, we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
If you believe a child has provided information through an in-app purchase or subscription process, please contact the relevant app store provider, as Apple or Google controls payment-related data.
7. Your Rights
Since your resume data is stored only on your device:
Access and portability: Your data is already in your possession. You can export your resume as a PDF or copy your text at any time.
Deletion: You can delete your data using Settings → Delete all data or by uninstalling the app.
Subscription data: To access, manage, or delete subscription-related data held by Apple, Google, or RevenueCat, please use your Apple ID or Google account controls, or contact RevenueCat using its privacy policy.
Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights under applicable laws, such as GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, or other privacy regulations.
Because we do not receive or control your resume content, most privacy requests related to your resume data can be handled directly on your device. For other questions, you may contact us using the details below.
8. Data Security
Your resume data is protected by your device’s own security features, such as passcode protection, biometrics, and operating system app sandboxing.
We recommend keeping your device software up to date and using a strong passcode.
No method of electronic storage is completely secure. However, because ResumeFlow keeps your resume data on your device instead of storing it on a server, it reduces the risk of a server-side data breach exposing your resume information.
9. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we make changes, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be reflected in an updated app release or on the published privacy policy page.
