At Plant Identifier, we aim to create a helpful, respectful, and safe experience for everyone who uses the app. These Community Guidelines explain what users can and cannot do while using our services.
1. Respectful Content
• Do not upload plant photos or descriptions that include hateful, abusive, or harassing content.
• Avoid sharing images or text that are offensive, harmful, or inappropriate.
2. No Misleading or False Information
• Make sure any plant-related information you submit is accurate to the best of your knowledge.
• Do not share intentionally false plant data, fake species names, or misleading advice.
3. No Harmful or Illegal Use
• The app must not be used to promote illegal activities, harmful practices toward plants, or environmental damage.
• Sharing copyrighted images or content without permission is strictly prohibited.
4. Fair Use of AI Features
• AI scan results are meant to guide you. Always verify important plant care decisions before applying them.
• Do not misuse the AI to generate inappropriate, harmful, or unrelated content.
5. Privacy and Data Protection
• Do not upload photos that reveal someone’s personal or sensitive information.
• Respect the privacy of others and follow local data protection rules when sharing plant content or discussions.
6. Account and Usage Integrity
• Do not attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or interfere with the app’s systems or APIs.
• Avoid using bots, scripts, or automation tools to misuse the app.
Violations
If you break these guidelines, we may take actions such as:
• Warning notifications
• Temporary suspension
• Permanent account or access ban
