Violation of "Perpetual Care" Standards

• The Issue: The combination of overflowing trash, tire tracks across graves, litter, flags ripped and in the mud, toppled stones all over the grounds, overgrown trees, unmowed grass, and unmitigated mud tracks shows a pattern of "offensive deterioration."

• The Case Point: Under Pennsylvania law, a cemetery owner must maintain the grounds in a manner that does not "offend the public sense of decency."

Herbicide (aka "Round Up") is being sprayed on weeds around headstones rather than manual trimming methods, such use of a weed wacker, which takes longer.

The chemicals damage stones over time and is bad for the environment.
