Denniesha is a licensed professional counselor in the state of Georgia. She received her B.A. in sociology from The University of Saint Joseph and an M.Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of West Georgia. She is currently working to obtain her PhD in Counseling Education and Supervision. Denniesha has counseling experience in multiple fields, including child and adolescent partial hospitalization, inpatient hospitalization, and private Practice. Denniesha has worked with an eclectic population, which includes but not limited to, children, adolescents, adults, mood disorders, psychosis, substance abuse, and personality disorders. Denniesha is an ARC (Attachment and Resilience Competency) trained therapist. This modality caters to child and adolescent survivors of trauma. Denniesha believes that with the right support, human beings can overcome anything to have fulfilling, mentally healthy lives. Denniesha understands that it is a privilege to be invited on the journey of healing with her clients, and she takes this honor seriously. As a result, Denniesha makes an intentional effort to enter her sessions with preparation. Denniesha takes an integrative approach towards healing and includes psychotherapy and expressive activities with her clients. She is excited to support you on your journey towards healing.
