The first day will feature workshops and discussions that highlight the strengths and areas for improvement in disaster management during Kristine and Pepito.
The second day will provide an opportunity for Local Chief Executives from the region to review the workshop outputs, engage in an open forum, and collaborate on the development of a more robust, action-oriented preparedness, response, prevention and mitigation, and recovery and rehabilitation plan for future disasters. The groups are also given chance to present their outputs and accept comments from resource speakers. An open forum was also conducted wherein the participants expressed their concerns and issues to the invited Regional Line Agencies. Furthermore, before the end of the activity a commitment signing signed by both LDRRMOs and LCEs as a promise to build a more resilient Bicol Region.
