Resideo Compass Download [Extra Quality]

Let the fun begin, once you have all the equipment needed to connect to your panel you need to setup the Honeywell compass software. The link to install guide is in section 2.1. Open the software and will get this screen.

I have one request. After installing compass 2.0 I noticed that the

panel does not list Vista 128BPT. How can I add this panel to its list. The

program I have tested the panel Vista 4140 and functions by mistake, but I

desperately need your support for the Vista 128 BPT you need to start

installing. Thanks in advance!

As far as Honeywell goes I do have a problem with their platform beyond support. (Oh and day two no call back from sales...which is awesome) In my opinion, that Honeywell has not done a good job of standardizing programming between different panels. This panel you need to do this but in this panel you need to do that. However if you use compass then ALL of those options are still available you are just supposed to not use them if you want it to work.

If you are being honest, there is no way that you open up Compass and say wow this software is real designed well. LOL I found out after adding 100 users in compass that their names will not appear in total connect. You need to manually add them there. Really?!?

yeah zone 972 grounf fault make it type 0 ground fault will no longer be detected and you can still have your equipment grounded. I've seen this with certain laptops connected to panels using compass downloader, real head scratcher when it first creeps up on you. Personally I don't like to give a direct path to equipment but there's 2 sides to that argument.

I am wondering what revision the last 250fbp I put in was, as it was over the summer and I didn't have issues, but then I programmed it via laptop and compass software using FA1700c-3 as it's the same panel, guess I will see monday when I go to upgrade him to 2.0.4 ff782bc1db
