The more and more that smart devices can do, the more important it is to make sure your device is functioning at its best. This means preserving the battery life, but also managing storage and RAM and keeping everything safe from security threats.

In the beginning of the year, Samsung introduced the Smart Manager, which helps users scan and optimize their smartphone, all at once. Available since the launch of the Galaxy S6 and S6 edge, the performance of Smart Manager and the devices that support it has been improving. The Galaxy S6 edge+ and Note5 come preloaded with improved battery usage, including app optimization, and security features.

Samsung smart TV's give you access to loads of fantastic apps, making it easier than ever to access the entertainment you love. Through the apps menu you can download, uninstall, lock and unlock apps, giving you greater control over who can access your media.

It appears that Samsung have removed the ability to access the Recordings and Schedule Manager screen from the Smart Hub screen (it appears you could do on the previous years version of the smart hub). I can only access the screen via the overly convoluted route on the "Smart" remote and cannot access it at all via the standard remote.

Just purchased an 65S90C and am astonished at how rediculous this is. So I have 2 remotes - a smart remote that can't quickly get to something like the TV guide - and a "normal" remote that can not get to the recordings. Utterly disappointed.

Yes, I have since found that myself. Took me a lot longer to spot it though. Another problem with the recording and schedule manager functionality is that if you record something that's part of a series, say at the same time every week. It won't automatically record anything more than a week in advance. It will only record as far ahead as the TV guide can "see". As the days pass by, the scheduler should see that more episodes of the recorded series have appeared and add them to the scheduled recordings. But it doesn't. Every other PVR that I've seen does this. I also raised that with Samsung support but got absolutely nowhere. All they would do was point me to the manual (for a previous years TV) and then suggested that a technician would remotely access my TV to see what I was doing wrong! I told them to shove it where the sun don't shine at that point

I know this topic is already here and it was responded, but I did all steps that I saw on the answers and I still cannot make my PC(UBUNTU) connect with my Samsung smart tv(LT32E390S), I'm using Tizen 4.1, I can run emulator and it does recon when I ''scan'' through Remote Device Manager but when I toggle to switch ''ON'' it gives that message that Error: failed to connect to remote target, 192.168.1.6, PORT 26101

There are a lot of problems with the Samsung tvs. A lot of functions don't work. Apps, nflx, prime, hulu, tubi, etc. All don't work w/o smart hub and you can't get smart hub to work if you're not logged in. Trouble is some parts of the sfwr tell you u r logged in. Some parts tell you u r not logged in. Some parts of the sfwr ask you to log in and when u try, it says u r already logged in. Meanwhile, the Samsung account is greyed out. All the fixes u find in this community don't work. Sometimes, they will, but within minutes or a power cycle, the problem returns. Also, volume control doesn't work, neither does channel changer or voice control. Samsung support is unable to solve any of these problems. Try this try that. Might as well try cycling power while tugging on your right ear lobe while holding the power button down while wiggling your left toe, not that toe, the other toe, count to 20 and shake your head. A joke. And they don't care.

Curious if anyone found the smart lock guest access function in the new smartthings app. I am unable to locate it according instructions provided on the smartthings website. I did download the classic app and have it running there so I know my lock supports it. Question #2 are many using the new app? Looks like of forum is focused on classic. Just curious.

In the meanwhile, if you have access to RBoy Apps you can use this app [RELEASE] Lock User Management: Door lock code manager (create, delete and schedule codes) with automatic lock/unlock, custom user actions and SHM/ADT integration with the new ST app.

The issue is with the regionality of features in the app and completely independent of the device itself or the hub. The lock code manager that you are looking for in the app, Smart Lock Guest Access, is only available in the US.

Samsung Smart Manager application tries to improve smartphone performance in many ways, one being the battery life optimization. While trying to improve the battery life, Samsung Smart Manager's App Optimization closes the applications the device user has not actively used. Being a background process almost never accessed by end user, Miradore Online Client is one of these processes killed by this optimization task. By killing Miradore Online Client processes, Samsung Smart Manager also effectively blocks all the mobile device management functionalities on this device. By default, Smart Manager's App Optimization takes place after 3 days from installing the Android update where Smart Manager application is included.

That's not the same app. The app we need is called Samsung camera manager app and the previous app for older cameras is called Samsung SMART CAMERA app. This seems to be a camera app for taking photos.

I'm using the app in android 9 on my note 9 and it's it's working great. If I remember correctly it wasn't a straight install though, I think I had to go searching for the service app first. I did download the samsung camera manager direct from the play store though.

Connect your pc or laptop to your smart-tv with wifi and then go to display in settings and then customize your settings such like which display will be your primary screen and other settings similar to Windows.
