Who can apply for Research Week with Google?
Final year Undergraduate and Master's students in India and PhD students (all years) currently enrolled in a university in India or Singapore are welcome to apply for the Research Week with Google. We also welcome applications from industry professionals , research associates / academic staff who are recent graduates (graduated in or after 2020).
Students with prior exposure and experience (through coursework, internships and/or projects) with Machine Learning research will benefit from the symposium.
What are the prerequisites for Undergraduate and Master's students?
Mandatory Requirements:
Students should be in the final year of their degree program.
Prior course work, internships and/or development / research experience in the fundamentals of Machine Learning.
Preferred Requirements:
Proficiency in the fundamentals of Machine Learning.
Strong fundamentals in Linear Algebra and Python Programming.
What are the prerequisites for PhD students?
Mandatory Requirements:
Student currently enrolled in a full-time PhD program
Prior coursework and development/research experience in areas related to Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in one of the graduate symposium’s sub-tracks: Computer Vision, Natural Language Understanding, and ML Foundations.
Is there a registration fee?
No, registration is free for all selected participants.
Will I be provided a certificate for attending Research Week with Google?
Yes, attendees for the program will be provided with a participation certificate.
