The symposium has limited capacity and thus the final selection is quite competitive. The application form requires attention to detail including evaluative questions, please allocate time accordingly.

What to expect at Research Week with Google:

  • Series of lectures and research discussion sessions led by research leaders. The symposium will cover the latest advances in the field of Machine Learning and related areas in ML Foundations, Computer Vision, and Natural Language Processing

  • Learning from top AI researchers

  • Engagement with the wider AI community in India and Singapore

  • Tutorials on hands on topics by leading experts


Please note that Research Week with Google would require a commitment of an average of six hours per day for the four days of the symposium.


Students with significant prior exposure and experience with Machine Learning research will benefit from Research Week with Google.

Registration:

Registration is free for the program. However, given the program structure and limited seats, selection will be competitive. Applicants will be selected based on responses to the application form. All applications will be reviewed by the organizing team.

Please keep the following details handy before you submit your application:

  • Curriculum vitae

  • Details of your academic history (coursework, grades)

  • List of your publications (if any)

  • Programming profile/Project URLs (if any)

  • [For interested PhD students] A statement of research interest (max. 500/750 words): be sure to include details of your PhD project, past coursework/projects in ML/AI, and your motivation for attending the graduate symposium


Please note that it will not be possible to save the application and resume it at a later stage, so have all the necessary documents and information with you before starting your application. Applications need to be completed in full in order to be considered.
