Over time many people have contributed to the knowledge base of the blog and the research being conducted. The blog has gained followers, some family members or people with an interest in military history have added to the work done in the past 17 years.

The 18th Battalion Facebook Group and Page have been a strong and constant contributor to the history of the "Fighting 18th" and adds more information weekly, and sometimes daily.

Further, several specific people have offered knowledge, support, and guidance to the efforts made on behalf of the men of the 18th.
