Research Civitan Club

The Research Civitan Club (RCC) is a Civitan International group located at the Civitan International Research Center (CIRC) at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Our members are faculty, students, and local community members who volunteer to support the local Birmingham community. Our mission is to aid our local community who are affected by neurodevelopmental disorders.

Membership Fees:

Fees are due once a year every October 1^st. Any new members are welcome at any time of the year, and their membership bill will be given at a prorated cost (by the number of months left from the time they join until October).

• Full member: $120 yearly

• Half member (students): $50 yearly

RCC calendar

The calendar below contains important dates for all members such as: club meetings, event dates/times and membership due date.

Importantly, our monthly meetings are scheduled for the third Friday at 10am (NOTE: due to COVID-19, the meeting are being held online via Zoom). Sci Café

In addition to the RCC monthly meeting, a great opportunity that members and the general community should be aware of is Sci Café. This monthly event gives you the chance to meet scientists and learn about their exciting work.
