has studied German language and journalism at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, Romania. She has a PhD in Philology from the University of Bucharest with a thesis on media language. She is currently a lecturer at the German language section of the Department of Communication, Public Relations and Advertising at the Faculty of Political, Administrative and Communication Sciences of the Babeș-Bolyai University. Her research interests are in the field of intercultural and interethnic communication, gender communication, media language and communication theories
