Mission Statement

The mission statement for the Las Vegas Young Professionals Kiwanis Esports League is to form a community of academic students with an interest in esports gaming to promote innovative thinking, leadership development and STEM careers.

Kiwanis Club of Las Vegas Young Professionals is a part of the Kiwanis International organization and is dedicated to providing service to the community.

As a Kiwanis Club, we sponsor High School youth groups through service opportunities, leadership activities & monetary funds. A Kiwanis advisor is designated to each Key Club to help guide them through their functions throughout the year.

Just last year, several members of LVYP Kiwanis saw an opportunity to encourage academic motivation in high school students by offering an esports event as an incentive. The thoughts of many of our members were that video games could be used to encourage academic achievement rather than it be considered a distraction. HyperX Esports Arena along with other community partners were generous enough to donate their efforts and offer an opportunity for High School students to be rewarded for their good grades.
