What if I registered and need to cancel?

Please send an email to lvypkiwanis.esports@gmail.com so we can give your spot to another deserving student. Make sure you include your first and last name.

What if I don’t like Fortnite? Will this event still be worth attending?

We listened to your feedback and will be offering other tournaments this game day. Also, there will be other tables set up around the HyperX Esports Arena to entertain gamer kids who are not playing their match.

The HyperX Esports Arena has two bars. Will alcohol be served at this event?

This will be at the discretion of management staff of HyperX Esports Arena.

What are Sportsmanship tickets and how can I get them?

Sportsmanship tickets are raffle tickets that students can get for free. Between the tournaments, we will raffle off prizes by randomly drawing students names from Sportsmanship tickets.

Sportsmanship tickets will be awarded by random adults in the venue to students who show a positive culture toward gaming. We want to see students congratulate each other, make friends with each other and have a positive helpful vibe.

If I have family and friends who did not register or do not have good grades, can they still come and hangout?

Yes, they may spectate the event and cheer you on during your matches. The event is open to public, but tournament entrants must be a CCSD student K-12.

I am a parent. Can I leave my child alone at the event?

No, it is a Nevada law that children under the age of 14 must be supervised by someone 18 or older.

Can I bring food and drinks into the event?

No, HyperX Esports Arena will be offering food and drinks to purchase and they will work with the culinary team to make sure attendees are offered items for purchase that address any allergies or dietary restrictions.

Can I come to the event early/before 2:00 PM?

Doors will open at 2:00 AM.

Gamers who are registered for Fornite and are eligible to play for their round can start “warm up” matches 30 minutes prior to the start of the round.

Can I stay after the event is over at 8:30 PM?

The event ends at 8:30 PM. All students will be required to leave.
