I had the honor of meeting these wonderful ladies and interview them on their experiences through the club and about their love for nature! I had so much fun hearing about their "why"; why do they go out into nature? Why and how is it beneficial? Through our conversations, I learned about all the ways that being out in nature has transformed mental health, increased social interactions, and has even improved our local natural places. If you are wanting to get involved outside and don't know how to get started, I would HIGHLY encourage getting involved in this group and see all the amazing things they do.

I had the privilage in meeting the executive director of River Action, Kathy Wine. If you ever have the opportunity to sit down and talk with her, you will find her to be the kindest person and most passionate nature lover there is. Through our conversation, I got to hear about all of the amazing things River Action is doing for the Quad Cities and protecting our natural placecs, some of the awesome events they have coming up, and about her love for nature and her passion to protect it and encourage others to do the same! I would HIGHLY encourage anyone to check out their site and especially their magazine to see all of the great things they do and ways one can get involved.
