Depending on how you use Renew That, we may collect and store the following information:

Account Information

When you create or use a Renew That account, we may store information such as:

·         authentication information necessary to provide access to your account.

If you choose to sign in using a third-party authentication provider such as Google or Apple, we may receive information provided by that provider, such as your name, email address, and a unique account identifier.

Household and Item Information

We store information that you choose to create in the App, including:

·         group names and information;

·         household item names and information;

·         replacement schedules and dates;

·         information about household members you invite or share a household with.

Photos

If the App provides photo upload functionality, we store photos that you voluntarily choose to upload.
We do not access photos from your device unless you choose to provide them to the App.
Notifications and Technical Information

Renew That may process information necessary to provide notifications and maintain the security and functionality of the App.

Depending on the Firebase services used by the App, technical information such as IP address, device or application identifiers, user-agent information, and other technical data may be processed by the service providers used to operate the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information only as necessary to provide and operate Renew That, including to:

·         create and manage your account;

·         store and synchronize your household and item information across your devices;

·         provide household and item management functionality;

·         calculate and display replacement schedules;

·         send notifications and reminders;

·         allow you to share households with members you explicitly invite;

·         provide customer support;

·         maintain and secure the App;

·         prevent abuse, fraud, or unauthorized access;

·         comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your personal information for advertising purposes.

3. Sharing and Third-Party Service Providers

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We may use trusted service providers to process information on our behalf when this is necessary to provide the functionality of Renew That.

Renew That uses Google Firebase services, which may include:

·         Firebase Authentication for account authentication and management;

·         Cloud Firestore for storing household, group, and item information;

·         Firebase Cloud Storage for storing photos and other uploaded content;

·         Firebase Cloud Messaging for delivering notifications.

These services process information as necessary to provide their respective functionality.

Google may process Firebase data on infrastructure located in different countries, including the United States and other locations where Google or its service providers operate. Firebase documentation explains that the location of processing varies by service. (Firebase)

We do not permit our service providers to use your information for advertising or to sell your personal information.

4. Household Sharing

If you choose to share a household with another person, information associated with that household may be accessible to the members you explicitly invite.
You are responsible for choosing whom you invite to your household.
We do not make your household information publicly available.

5. Data Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

These measures include the use of Firebase Authentication and Firebase security rules to control access to data.

Data transmitted to Firebase services is protected using encrypted connections. Firebase also provides encryption at rest for several of its services, including Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage. (Firebase)

However, no method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide the functionality of Renew That and maintain your account.

If you delete your account, we will delete the personal information and user content associated with your account, except where retention is required or permitted by applicable law.

7. Account and Data Deletion

You may request deletion of your Renew That account and associated personal information.

To request deletion, please use the account deletion option available in the App or follow the instructions on our Delete Account page.

8. Children’s Privacy

Renew That is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

If you believe that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take appropriate action.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Renew That, our data practices, or applicable legal requirements.
