Field Work

I have field work experience of conducting training programs for Self Help Group (SHG) members, visiting rural households for data collection and coordinating primary data collection in rural regions in Kerala, India using household surveys. Listed below are the two main projects where I could lead the data collection at the field in person:

1) NABARD (National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development) funded project titled "Indebtedness or Debt Trap? A Case Study of Rural Households in Kerala" covering 600 rural households in three districts of Kerala, India.

2) A research project titled ‘Impact of a natural disaster on rural households’, a collaborative study by IIM Kozhikode, India and the University of Essex, UK (part of the UKIERI study on DHA9700 - “Mainstreaming of Financial Inclusion in India”).
