OK so i was recording some footage for my youtube channel with my buddy and we were using 2 separate mics on two separate computers with audacity on them and i was just wondering if its at all possible to remove his voice (which is alot quieter in my track) from mine, and to remove my voice (also quieter in his track) from his. I am very new to audio editing and i have tried everything i can click on to remove it and i was just wondering if there is a trick to it or something, because when i put the two tracks together it gets this weird hollow, kinda robotic sound. and i dont like that kind of thing.
I wasn't able to find a good mix of sample points for my example file above, however, that adequately removed the gradient. I suspect the type of gradient present might require a more sophisticated approach to remove.
I need to remove background noise from some footage I have. It's footage where someone is making a speech but the AC is on and was nearer to the camera and the AC noise is loud. You can still hear what the guy is saying but I would like to remove or at least reduce the background noise without taking out the guys voice at all and still leaving his voice clear.
Notch filtering will help with the a/c noise. Drop the 4-band eq from audiosuite onto the offending audio track. Set one of the bands to have a narrow 'q' then sweep the frequency dial until you've found the point where you seem to make the a/c noise loudest. Then remove that same frequency using the eq until you start to affect the voice adversely. For coughs, noises etc, find a clean piece of a/c and edit that back in to the timeline (not forgetting to eq that as well).

But.. painting on mask to reveal is much, much, much, faster than trying to find the edges of all those parts. And you aren't going to find a one-step solution regardless of any method you choose. The highlights are just too similar to the background color.
If you're going to reshoot the pieces, include fewer of them in the shot, which seems like it might be for a catalog or another kind of listing. Words can deal with the quantity. When people are looking at a product like this, clarity trumps everything else. Finally, shoot at the very highest resolution you can, and when using the auto select tool, try going into "Select" and, with the background selected, > Modify > Expand. That gives you a dialogue box where you can choose how many pixels to expand this selection. This helps remove the annoying "edge lights" - at least that's what I call them. These are sometimes remnants of JPGs, the haloes that inevitably seem to swim into the background in the kind of shot you show. Hope that helps some, in addition to the other good answers.

I will restate my question with emphasis on the points of confusion.

Apologies for missing the multiple tables part of your question Ryan. Unfortunately you aren't able to select multiple tables and change all cell backgrounds in one go. I've just tested it to make sure but you would need to change each table background individually.
My other suggestion would be to create the table in Confluence and then group paste the table content in instead of pasting the full table in - this should stop the black background appearing and take away the need to change the cells.
After deleting any catalog that could be using the connection you may need to just resort to PowerShell to remove the connections (Perhaps MCS or Studio has gotten mixed up with background task due to not being able to use the connection anymore).

What is it that you are trying to achieve with the command? MCS does run background disk cleanup tasks occasionally. I wouldn't advise just removing these tasks just to delete a host resource. If you remove the tasks then those disk images will not be cleared from your storage - is this your intention?
We have migrated to a new ESXi Environment (in place VMware Upgrade), I have one host connection that pertains to the to the hosts as they were in before the upgrade. The intention is to remove the original Host Connection but I am unable due to Background Tasks that seem to be stuck. The upgrade was not the cause as the start dates for these tasks are from before the upgrade.
The background task states are all in running Status. I have not monitored them before as XD 7.1 does not have a facility to do so unless its done via powershell that I can see and as I am not very fluent in Powershell.
Ok, I'd attempt a more brute force approach then. The following commands will remove all the tasks that used to belong to the hosting unit (resource) that you wish to delete (I don't think it's a question of limiting them to particular images).
All together by powerhshell. If i remove the tasks first and try to remove the hosting connection by GUI, there are new tasks created in the meantime. So if i do all the stuff in one flow by powershell, the new tasks get not created and i can delete the hosting connection. 006ab0faaa
