No more outstretched arm. No more asking strangers. RemoteSelfie turns two iPhones into a camera and a remote control. Prop one phone wherever you want the shot, step back, and watch the live view on the other. Take the picture when you are both actually ready.
Step 1: install RemoteSelfie on both iPhones, with Bluetooth or Wi-Fi on.
Step 2: on the first iPhone tap Camera, then place it facing you.
Step 3: on the second iPhone tap Remote, pick the first phone from the list, and accept the request on that phone.
Step 4: the remote shows the live view. Tap the white button to shoot.
Every photo is saved to the Photos library of the iPhone acting as camera.
Free gives you 20 photos a day and everything you need to take a picture together. Plus and Pro are yearly subscriptions.
With a subscription on one phone: no banners or text over the live view when that phone acts as camera, its screen on or off as you prefer.
With a subscription on both phones: unlimited photos, landscape shots and, with Pro, burst mode and flash control.
With Pro, press the shutter once and step away. The camera counts down with its flash, then takes a whole sequence on its own. Pro also controls the other phone's flash.
The two phones talk directly to each other over Bluetooth or local Wi-Fi. There is no server, no sign-up and no account. It works on a mountain, on a beach, abroad, anywhere. Your photos never leave your phone, and we never see them.
RemoteSelfie has to be installed on both. With a single phone there is nothing to connect to.
