I created REMEMBER to remind people that freedom, dignity and justice are not abstract concepts, but achievements paid for by real people, often with their lives. Behind every right there are names, faces, families and histories interrupted by violence.
This work arises from the need to oppose the normalization of injustice, violence and indifference. In difficult times like these, it is a call to memory and responsibility.
With this series I want to speak especially to younger generations, who too often seem not to have learned from history and risk becoming more violent instead of more aware.
REMEMBER is active memory: an invitation to remember, to understand, and to choose humanity over hatred.
