The Ministry of Religious Education is to accompany others to know and love the Lord Jesus Christ and serve as he did. Religious Education is about Evangelization and Catechesis. Evangelization is introducing people to the person of Jesus Christ, his ministry and his words.
Catechesis is the systematic and formal ministry of passing on the teachings and rituals that come from people’s relationship with Jesus. The definitive aim of catechists is about developing a relationship with Jesus Christ.
