Intensionality all the way down: new perspectives on logical relevance

The project

This page serves as the online presence of the PAPIIT Project IN403719 “Intensionality all the way down: new perspectives on logical relevance” led by Luis Estrada-González. It started in January 2019 and runs for three years.

The project aims at (1) developing alternative understandings of both existing logics in the relevance family ---and in the sociative logics family in general, with a special emphasis on connexive logics---; (2) rethinking certain core ideas in those areas: relevance, meaning connection, variable-sharing, derivational utility, and many others; (3) studying the implications of the above especially for the philosophy of science and the philosophy of maths, examining the apparent need of irrelevant argument forms to obtain certain crucial results in physics and maths,

Get in touch if you would like to get involved with the project, for instance by giving a talk in Mexico City, participating in future events, or having Mexico-based members over for a research exchange or a talk. Expressions of interest for mid- and long-term collaboration are most welcome.
