A little bit about me:
My name is Maia van der Walt and I am your trainer.
It's always been a passion of mine to MOVE, whether it was with my dancing and gymnastics, every day exercise or just with daily activities.
I have my degree in Human Movement Sciences, did Personal Training on cruise ships and later expanded that into becoming a Qualified MAP Movement Trainer.
My goal is to assist every person that "forgot how to move freely" and that are stuck in their own bodies due to chronic pain and our busy lifestyles, which includes sitting for long hours, pain, stress, injuries, surgeries, poor posture, emotional trauma and anxiety. I want to educate you on the 5 MAP Movement Principles to regain the power back into your body and to create flexibility and necessary SPACE to have freedom of movement again, without any pain.
