Interview / Bio

Workers should schedule or come to an already scheduled session to get interviewed. If you want to be appointed to a Board, we will need a Bio that describes yourself so when people are voting they know more about you. Just send us your Bio on the communication method of your choice, email/discord etc...

Decision Makers are NOT required to conduct an interview before the first budget vote. Instead Decision Makers are encouraged to attend a meeting, but can vote online. This is also true on-going into the future. Decision Makers have the ability to vote on Monthly HR Budgets online. The final approval for the budget happens during a Real-Time Main Session, and Decision Makers can choose to come, but are not required to.

At some point over the first month, Decision Makers will want to schedule an interview, or come to a Main Session. This is to give a chance for the team to meet the Decision Makers and make sure that they meet minimum criteria for the position.

Discord communication and Global Sessions are at all times of day and night, and it is important for us to hire people who are flexible when they are available to communicate and  attend our sessions. Sessions are typically audio, so you need to be able to talk and typically use the computer to help take notes and collaborate together during our sessions. Global Sessions use natural time cycles like the full and new moon, so the times are always changing for who has to be up in the middle of the night. Anyone who attends a session between 12am to 6am gets double overtime 2x their normal pay.

Global Sessions happen during Natural Time Cycles like Full Moon, Quarter Moon, New Moon, and other planetary cycles. You can find the current upcoming Main Sessions on the Team Schedule.

Our Expectations of what is in a Professional Bio for Why Someone should be on the Board of Directors

Protocol: (Required)

0 - A brief paragraph (about 3-5 sentences)

1 - Background - where you come from and who you are

2 - Experience and Skills

3 - Generally answer the question: "Why should the membership appoint you to the CCC Board?" without literally answering this question.

4 - Needs to be written by the the individual and in their perspective (should be third person of course)

Guidelines: (Optional)

0 - Please focus on your past experience and what you have done that qualifies you to be on the Board

1 - Refrain from vague future goals, mission, vision, purpose or hypothetical future goals that may happen in relationship with other organizations or us

         Good Example: Volunteered in an at-risk community center

         Good Example: Really good and lots of experience at fundraising

         Bad Example: I'm going to study International Business in London in three years. 

         Bad Example: I want to help save endangered species and would like to foster animals one day.
