Reimagining Learning

If we teach today's students as we taught yesterday's, we rob them of tomorrow. - John Dewey

This section will document my learning journey as the recipient of the 2018 NSW Premier's Commonwealth Bank STEM Scholarship. I explored how innovative institutions are reimagining learning across North America and embedding opportunities for students to develop the key capabilities they will need to be successful in the future.

The findings of this study will be organised into the following categories,

• Models: Design, Computational, Systems, Scientific Thinking. Mindsets, dispositions, learner assets or profiles. This section will investigate how these models have been developed, implemented and embedded into school culture.
• STEAM: Inquiry, Interdisciplinary, Project-Based / Challenge-Based Learning. This section focuses on how these pedagogies have been embedded and adapted to fit the context of each school.
• Spaces: MakerSpaces, Design & Innovation Labs, Studios and classrooms. This section will focus on the design and set up of these spaces.
• Resources: Tools for teachers
