We distribute and collect donations in Elisa's honor, in order to fund a variety of different projects to keep her memory alive. Some planned projects include funding scholarships for students to study Jewish cooking at the Culinary Institute of America, honoring master teachers in Montgomery County Public Schools, providing two students a year with scholarships to attend the Alexander Muss High School in Israel, and more. We strive to give back to those in need, as Elisa always worked to do.
Elisa loved to cook and host! We love the idea of funding scholarships for students at the Culinary Institute of America in Elisa's name.
We will sponsor students to learn and create cultural dishes that reflect traditional Jewish cuisine.
In addition, we will provide funds for major kitchen remodel at Shaare Torah, our family's synagogue in Gaithersburg, Maryland.
Promoting values of Judaism, tikkun olam -- repairing the world, Zionism, and Jewish education with the help of the Jewish National Fund.
We will sponsor two students per academic term to study at the Alexander Muss High School in Israel outside of Tel Aviv.
As a superb substitute teacher, Elisa was drawn to caring for children and guiding them through learning.
We will carry on her legacy by supporting increased educational funding and advanced methods to allow all children to succeed.
