Game Start Time:
Varsity: 3:30pm
JV to follow immediately after
1 ½ hour time limit
Game day of the week:
Tuesday and Thursday
Payson, Stansbury, Cedar Valley, Uintah, and maybe Tooele will have three teams
Gameday expectations :
Visiting team will take the field at 3:00pm for infield
Home team will take the field at 3:15pm for infield
Sport Specific Guidelines :
Varsity games are seven (7) inninings
Run rule: 15 runs after 3 inning or 10 runs after 5 innings
If score is tied after 7 innings, international tiebreaker will go into effect
JV games to follow immediately after varsity games
1 ½ hour time limit. No new inning after 1 ½ hour
A team may only score 6 runs per half inning in a JV game
Rules for JV play will be agreed upon by the region in order to provide a developmental atmosphere and to accommodate facility conflicts
Home team is responsible for:
An adult scorekeeper
Two new game balls
Paying for officials
Field markings, maintenance, and management
Reporting final scores to required media outlets
Postponed games will follow UHSAA suspended game procedures
Home team will call their opponent and officials by noon (12:00pm)
Game will be rescheduled on the first available weekday as agreed upon by the involved coaches and approved by the involved principles
Priority should be given to region games
In the first round of region play, the postponed game may be “flip-flopped” to the visiting field if it is deemed playable. The second round will be reversed.
Teams agree to accept all National Federation Rules
All seniors nominated for Academic All-State will receive Academic All-region (3.75 or higher)
Senior recognition day will be communicated between the two teams prior to the game.

Coaches need to work together when making changes for spring breaks. All changes need to be approved by involved principals,
All-Region Team selection process:
MVP needs to be voted on
Each school nominate one player with stats
Each school gets one vote but cannot vote their own player

All-Region (1st team and 2nd team)
1st place = 5 players
2nd place = 4 players
3rd place = 3 players
4th place = 2 players
5th-7th place= 1 player
Region Champion Criteria including tiebreaker scenarios -
One region trophy will be awarded to the first place team. In the event of a tie, we will award trophies to the co-champions.
