TEA Parent & Family Engagement Statewide Initiative (partnership with ESC-16)

TEA PFE Council — Parent and Family Engagement 

The role of the PFE Council shall be to advise the Texas Education Agency (TEA) and the Parent and Family Engagement (PFE) Statewide Initiative in planning, implementing, and evaluating how to meet the needs of parents and families of students across the state of Texas along with the community in which the school is located. The recommendations of the PFE Council shall be submitted to the State Director of Title I, Part A who shall, if necessary, carry the recommendations through the appropriate leadership channels to the Associate Commissioner and Chief Grants Officer (Department of Grant Compliance and Administration).
