Mercury Found in Greenland Glacier Meltwater
In Greenland, a colony of the Kingdom of Denmark, an interest discovery was recently made in the form of finding high mercury levels in glaciers. As the glaciers melt, the mercury flows into water ways and could pose a danger to the colony's local, and even regional, environment. The fishing industry of Greenland is also at risk as a result of new, concerning find due the harm effects of mercury on living organisms.
