Promotion Program

Target Audience(s):  

1. Adult referees who have just completed USSF Grassroots and show interest and willingness to center ref early

2. Adult referees with experience (USSF and Davis AYSO) who need to be supported to serve as center referees

3. Youth referees who have shown an interest and ability (skills) to serve as center referees

Program Benefits:  

1. Priority placement in multiple appropriate games (USSF and Davis AYSO) early in the fall and spring season as center ref supported by mentors and experienced ARs

2. Priority placement in higher-level, appropriate games (USSF) as AR with experienced center ref

3. Individual meetings with referee leadership

4. Periodic review of VEO videos of games with referee leadership and other Platinum referees

5. Special recognition at AYSO United Davis events and with ‘exclusive’ merchandise

Program Requirements:  

1. Commitment to serve as center referee a minimum of one game (AYSO United Davis) each weekend, if possible

2. Commitment to volunteer as center referee regularly for Davis AYSO games

3. Commitment to participate in meetings and special trainings with referee leadership
