6U, 7U, and 8U games are officiated by referee-parents of the teams involved. There is no formal signup.

10U games

10U games are officiated primarily by referees who are parents of the teams involved.To best assure that games are covered, we ask that everyone officially signs up for their games on refscheduler, so others know that these spots are covered. If you

12U and older games

12U and older games should ideally be officiated by referees not associated with the teams playing. If by the day before game day, there are unfilled slots for your child's game, you are welcome to sign up for and officiate that game.

What age groups can I officiate?

In general, do only what you're trained for and comfortable doing. That would be the best for you as well as for the players.

New referees must go to our online scheduler to create an account. We are Section 2, Area D, Region 218. Click on the button titled "New Referee Signup." Enter your personal information. After the scheduler coordinator approves your account, you will be able to self-select the games you want to officiate. Ensure you are cross-certified before requesting access.
