🎃 Help Make Reed’s Fall Fest Happen!
Reed Elementary is gearing up for its annual Fall Fest and is looking for volunteers to help make the fun happen! Parents, grandparents, neighbors and high school students are all welcome to lend a hand. From taking tickets to helping with activities, there are plenty of ways to pitch in.

Connect with neighbors from across San José at BeautifySJ’s 4th Annual Neighborhoods Conference! Enjoy workshops on emergency preparedness, parks, homelessness, neighborhood associations and more. Share your ideas with City staff and learn ways to strengthen our communities.

The City of San José is developing uniform standards for data centers and large energy projects, and wants community input.

You may have noticed political signs starting to pop up around the neighborhood. That’s because the General Election is coming up on Tuesday, Nov. 3.
Here are a few things Reed neighbors should know:
Voter registration deadline: Oct. 19
San José City Council: Reed Neighbors is in District 9, where voters will choose our next councilmember between Genny Altwer and Gordon Chester.
San José Unified School District: Reed is in Trustee Area 4, where voters will choose between Mary Grunthaner and Michael Melillo for school board trustee.
