The Project

After listening to a presentation I created about the effects fo trash build up and ways the kids could help solve this global problem, they create their own art collages out of the trash. The kids loved being creative and making the art collages. They were given a cardboard base, paint glue and lots of trash to choose from and they made beautiful, creative projects!

For my classes at the ReDiscover Center, and at Castle Heights Elementary the kids made flowers out of plastic water bottles. The kids were allowed to cut, and paint by themselves and loved being able to use spray paint, most had ever done that before. They also received information about recycling and how they could help the environment.
