Some of the best things about Cub Scouting are the activities the boys (and sometimes you) get to do: Camping, Hiking,Racing Model Cars, going on Field Trips, or doing Projects that help our community and the people who live here. Cub Scouting means "Doing." All our activities are designed to have the boys doing something and by "Doing" they learn some very valuable life lessons.

BSA Membership
BSA Membership
The Annual Membership Fee $108; BSA Membership Fee $66 and CIEC Membership $42 (Effective January 1, 2021), which covers 12 months of Membership and Insurance. Note, mid-year Membership is prorated monthly.

The Uniform is a method of delivering the Scouting Program. It shows that you are a member of a team. Each grade has a specific Uniform for their program. Click here to learn more.

Each grade level has a specific Handbook they use for the year. Handbooks are about $17. Handbooks have all the required and elective adventures for each rank. Click here to find a Scout Shop near you. Or order from scoutshop.org.

This unit collects an activity fee to cover the cost of awards and recognitions, t-shirts, crafts, and special events. Pack 8 Annual Dues $90 (Effective 2021). *We offer fundraising opportunities and other available scholarship funds to offset both BSA Membership and Pack 8 Dues. Please contact us for details.

Additional activities such as overnight campouts, field trips, day camps, and resident camps have additional costs associated with them. These costs differ based on several factors. Detailed information can be provided by the local pack leadership.

Cub Scouts meet in their Dens twice a month, and a monthly Pack Meeting is held for ALL Cub Scouts and their families. Beyond that, it depends on the Den and Pack: the Pack or a Den may hold a special activity, such as a service project or visit to a local museum, in place of meetings, or in addition to Den and Pack meetings.

YES. As a program for the entire family, Cub Scouting can teach your son a wholesome system of values and beliefs while Building and Strengthening Relationships Among Family Members. Scouting gives you a platform to equip your son. We provide other mentors to help your son grow but you are also an important part of his development in scouting.

Activities are used to achieve the AIMS of Scouting—Citizenship Training, Character Development, and Personal Fitness. Many of the activities happen in the Den (with the children in their grade) or with the entire Pack (with all the grade levels). Our Cub Scouts always have and plenty of outdoor and indoor activities to help them achieve Goals.

At minimum, each Cub Scout will need a Blue Uniform and a Handbook. Each year, the Handbook changes, as does the Cap and Neckerchief, but other Blue Uniform parts remain the same for at least the first three years. When a Cub Scout enters a Webelos Den, he may need to obtain a new Uniform if the parents in the Den opt for the Khaki-and-Olive Uniform.
