We respect your privacy. RedBook Bird is designed to work fully on-device and does not collect personal data.
The app does not require you to register or log in. We do not request personal identifiers such as names or emails.
We do not collect, store, or share personal information. All sightings, photos, and notes remain stored locally on your device.
All features—catalogs, diaries, statistics, and knowledge articles—operate on your device. There are no servers, analytics SDKs, or advertising trackers.
If you grant access to your camera or gallery, it is used only to attach images to your bird entries. These images stay on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
If you create a backup or export data, files are generated locally and shared only through apps or locations you select. We do not receive or process those files.
Observation reminders and “bird of the day” tips are delivered as local notifications on your device. No notification data is transmitted externally.
The app is intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. Since no data is collected, there is no tracking or profiling.
If this Privacy Policy changes, we will update the date above in the app. Your continued use after changes means you accept the revised Policy.
