About the Committee

The Red Clover Book Award Committee is comprised of Vermont literacy experts such as public librarians, school librarians, teachers, and authors, and ranges from eight to ten members. The committee is supported by the Vermont Department of Libraries. The curates an annual list of 10 nominated picture books for students in kindergarten through fourth grade. Each committee member serves a three-year term, with a maximum of two terms.
