This is a resident-led, non-partisan community initiative concerning the proposed Ballantrae Multi-Sport Complex at 5592 Aurora Road.
We welcome respectful questions, information and participation from residents who would like to better understand the proposal or support responsible recreation and responsible development in Ballantrae.

Please contact us if you:
• would like a paper or PDF copy of the petition
• would like to help collect signatures
• have information that may be relevant to the project
• have experienced local flooding or drainage problems
• have photographs showing existing drainage or site conditions
• have concerns about traffic, school safety, lighting, noise or other local impacts

Our goal is to make sure residents have access to factual information and an opportunity to decide for themselves whether they wish to support the petition.
SHARE LOCAL INFORMATION
Local knowledge can be extremely valuable.
If you have relevant information about existing conditions in the area, we would be interested in hearing from you.
Examples include:
Flooding and drainage
Have you experienced basement flooding, standing water, ditch overflow or drainage problems?
If possible, please include:
• the general location
• approximate date or time of year
• whether it occurred after heavy rain or snowmelt
• photographs, if available
Traffic and school safety
Do you regularly experience:
• traffic backups
• unsafe turning movements
• school drop-off or pick-up congestion
• speeding
• pedestrian or cycling concerns
• traffic using residential streets to avoid congestion
Other neighbourhood impacts
Residents may also wish to share information relating to:
• groundwater or wells
• construction impacts
• noise
• nighttime lighting
• road conditions
• environmental concerns
You do not need to have technical expertise. Existing local conditions and firsthand observations may help identify issues that should be considered during the review process.

We will not intentionally publish personal contact information, photographs of private property, or identifiable personal accounts without permission.
Please note that information included on the formal petition submitted to the Town may become part of the public record under the Town’s procedures.
